  • Apple Cider Vinegar Foot Soak. Apple cider vinegar is used to treat various diseases, which includes toenail fungal infection. By mixing a 1:1 solution of this vinegar and water, you can make a foot soak to treat your fungal infection. Use the solution for not more than 30 minutes daily until the symptoms disappear.
  • White Vinegar Foot Soak. Foot soak made from two parts of water and one part of white vinegar is among the most popular and the most effective home remedies for nail fungus. Since white vinegar can be purchased anywhere, you can easily make your own foot soak any time. Every day until the infection is cleared, you will need to soak the infected toes for 15 minutes.
  • Listerine Foot Soak. Listerine contains plenty of antimicrobial ingredients, so it can work well to kill fungi and bacteria thriving under your nails. To make the foot soak solution, combine equal portions of Listerine and white vinegar. Soak your foot in the solution for 30 minutes a day. Use the solution as needed.
  • Baking Soda Foot Soak. Moisture plays a huge role in helping fungi grow. Hence, baking soda is among the finest ingredients you can use to draw out moisture from your toes. To make the baking soda foot soak, combine half a cup of any brand of baking soda, Epsom salt, white vinegar, water and hydrogen peroxide. Soak your infected foot every day for not more than 10 minutes until the infection is fully treated.
  • Lemon Foot Scrub. The citric acid in lemons is an effective antifungal and antimicrobial agent. Cut the lemon into wedges. Use one wedge every day as a foot scrub. Squeeze the lemon and gently massage the juice on your fungal infested toenail.
