Toenail fungus or Onychomycosis is an infection that commonly affects people who are

  • always wearing closed and tight shoes
  • constantly reuse socks
  • uses damp socks and footwear
  • who always walk barefoot in public places (such as communal showers or public swimming pools)
  • who have poor hygiene
  • who have medical conditions such as diabetes, psoriasis, immune system disorder or uncontrollable sweating.

This can be very uncomfortable and distressing especially if you have been dealing with it for quite some time. Moreover, if you ignore this, the bacteria could multiply leading to a more serious case of Onychomycosis that is clearly evident because of splitting, cracking and severe discoloration or loss of the entire toenail.

Apple Cider Vinegar is easy to find in your local grocery stores and it is more economical compared to other over the counter medications and topical solutions. Most often than not, commercial medications for nail fungus are expensive and have permanent side effects.

There are two ways on how to use apple cider vinegar on nail fungus treatment. You can do all of them at once or choose the best option for you.

If the taste is too sour for you, you may opt to put honey for a more palatable taste. Take this in the morning and before you sleep at night. Not only this will target your nail infection but this is great for general health as well.
